Latifa Mohamed
Head of Centre & Lead Assessor
Latifa Mohamed is the Head of Centre and Lead Assessor at Bay Education Centre. She oversees the strategic direction, academic quality, learner experience, and operational management of the organisation. With extensive experience in education, assessment, and quality assurance, she leads the centre’s commitment to inclusive practice, continuous improvement, and learner progression.
Latifa is also responsible for overseeing programme delivery, assessment standards, learner support, and external partnership development. Her work focuses on ensuring learners receive high-quality educational opportunities that support both academic and professional progression.
Ruwaida Mohamed
Head of Staff
Ruwaida Mohamed oversees staff coordination and supports the management of teaching and operational teams across the centre. Her role includes supporting staff development, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of educational delivery.
She plays an important role in fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment that enables staff to provide high-quality learning experiences for students.
Subeer Said
Pastoral Care & Learner Support
Subeer Said provides pastoral care and learner support across the centre, helping to ensure that students feel supported throughout their educational journey. His role includes promoting learner wellbeing, providing guidance and encouragement, and supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning where appropriate.
He contributes to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes learner confidence, engagement, and progression.
Gary Johnson
Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)
Gary Johnson oversees internal quality assurance processes across programmes delivered at Bay Education Centre. His role includes monitoring assessment decisions, supporting assessor standardisation, and ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements and quality standards.
He plays an important role in maintaining consistency, fairness, and reliability within assessment and verification processes, helping to uphold the integrity and quality of learner achievement.
Abdulmalik Mohamed
Finance & Administration
Abdulmalik is responsible for supporting the finance and administrative functions of Bay Education Centre. His role includes learner administration, operational coordination, financial processes, and supporting the day-to-day running of the organisation.
He contributes to ensuring that learners, staff, and organisational processes are supported effectively and efficiently.
